AsianFin -- U.S. President Donald Trump said on Friday that he is set to visit China early next year on social media.

“I also agreed with President Xi that we would meet at the APEC summit in South Korea, and that I would go to China in th early part of next year, and that President Xi would, likewise, come to the United States at an appropriate time," Trump said in a post on Social Truth, a social media platform founded by himself.

In the post, Trump also said his earlier phone call with Chinese president Xi Jinping was "very productive" and they made progress on many issues, including the approval of the the TikTok deal.
