AsianFin -- Zhao Han, the founder of the acclaimed Yunnan cuisine brand Mystic South–Yunnan Ethnic Cuisine, passed away on Thursday at 2:43 pm at Kunming Tongren Hospital despite emergency medical treatment. He was 40 years old.
Born in Kunming in July 1985, Zhao graduated from the School of Chinese Classics at Renmin University of China as part of its inaugural class. He later went on to serve as chairman of Mystic South–Yunnan Ethnic Cuisine, building the brand into a celebrated name in China’s culinary scene.
