AsianFin -- The China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) announced on Friday that it has initiated an anti-discrimination investigation to assess how U.S. trade policies on semiconductor chips are affecting China’s automotive sector.

Automakers have been asked to submit their input by October 13, according to the association’s statement.
