AsianFin -- The China Enterprise Confederation and China Enterprise Directors Association on Thursday released the 2025 ranking of the top 500 enterprises in China’s service industry.
According to Xinhua News Agency, the listed companies achieved combined revenues of 51.1 trillion yuan ($7.19 trillion) in 2024, with an average revenue of 102.2 billion yuan, surpassing the 100 billion yuan mark for the first time.
The rankings highlight rapid revenue and profit growth among the sector’s leading enterprises. Per capita revenue and profits reached record highs of 3.28 million yuan and 215,000 yuan, respectively. Emerging service sectors performed strongly, with modern industries—including internet and IT services, finance, logistics and supply chain, and business services—accounting for 184 of the ranked companies.
Supported by favorable policies, China’s domestic demand continued to expand in the first eight months of 2025, with service consumption—such as tourism and live performances—showing particularly strong activity, according to the National Bureau of Statistics.
