AsianFin -- Foxconn Interconnect Technology (FIT) said on Wednesday that its Saudi Arabian joint venture will begin constructing its first manufacturing facility in the Middle East this December to produce electric vehicle chargers.

FIT, a unit of Taiwan’s Foxconn specializing in connectivity and server components, launched the joint venture, Smart Mobility, last year in partnership with Saleh Suleiman Alrajhi and Sons.
