AsianFin -- China’s internet regulator has ordered the country’s largest technology firms to stop purchasing Nvidia’s (NVDA) artificial intelligence chips and to cancel existing orders, the Financial Times reported on Wednesday.
According to the report, the Cyberspace Administration of China (CAC) instructed companies including ByteDance and Alibaba this week to halt both testing and procurement of the RTX Pro 6000D, citing three people familiar with the matter.
