AsianFin -- Chinese autonomous driving solution providers Minieye Technology and Desay SV Automotive have officially entered vehicle manufacturing, aiming to capture a share of the growing autonomous logistics market.

On September 15, Minieye unveiled its self-driving logistics vehicle brand, Xiaozhu Unmanned Vehicle, introducing two Level-4 autonomous logistics models, the T5 and T8. The launch marks the company’s first large-scale production of autonomous vehicles designed for urban and industrial logistics applications.

The T5 model features a cargo volume of 5.5 cubic meters, a maximum payload of 1,000 kilograms, and a range of 180 kilometers, making it suitable for urban express delivery and retail logistics. The T8, larger and more powerful, offers 8.5 cubic meters of cargo space, a payload capacity of 1,700 kilograms, and a 240-kilometer range, targeting urban trunk logistics and industrial transport.

Minieye has set an ambitious delivery target of 10,000 vehicles, with the first batch already produced and distributed to clients in key Chinese cities, including Shenzhen, Chengdu, and Xi’an. The company’s rollout demonstrates its commitment to scaling autonomous logistics solutions and meeting rising demand for efficient, driverless delivery services.
