AsianFin -- Vietnamese feed makers are ramping up purchases of Canadian canola meal at discounted prices after China, once the product’s largest buyer, sharply reduced imports by imposing steep anti-dumping duties earlier this year, Reuters reported on Tuesday, citing three traders.

Over the past several months, Vietnamese millers have been importing about 30,000 metric tons per month of Canadian canola meal, which is primarily used in animal feed, according to two Singapore-based traders and one Ho Chi Minh City-based trader attending an international industry conference in Jakarta.
