AsianFin -- Microsoft will incorporate Anthropic’s AI technology into its Office 365 suite, according to sources.

The move means that Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint will leverage both Anthropic’s and OpenAI’s AI capabilities for new features, marking the end of Microsoft’s exclusive dependence on OpenAI in its productivity software.

Meanwhile, OpenAI is also seeking greater independence from Microsoft, recently launching a recruitment platform to compete with LinkedIn.
