Schmölz played a key role in shaping several high-profile sports cars, including the Lamborghini Temerario and the Porsche 718 Boxster. His appointment underscores Xiaomi Auto’s push to strengthen its design capabilities as it ramps up efforts to compete in the premium electric vehicle market.
