AsianFin -- Seres said yesterday that its new energy vehicle sales climbed 19.6% in August from a year earlier to 43,262 units, while production increased 19.4% to 43,069 units.

However, for the first eight months of the year, sales fell 6.9% to 259,951 units and output slipped 6.8% to 264,631 units compared with the same period last year.
