AsianFin -- The Universal Postal Union (UPU), a United Nations agency overseeing global postal services, reported that 25 of its member countries have temporarily suspended shipments to the United States following uncertainty triggered by the Trump administration’s revocation of a small-parcel duty exemption.

Headquartered in Switzerland, the UPU represents 192 member nations and works to facilitate cooperation among national postal services. On August 25, the organization sent a letter to U.S. Senator Marco Rubio expressing concern over the disruption in deliveries.
