AsianFin -- Tokyo Electron said Thursday it has no organizational involvement in a case involving alleged theft of trade secrets from Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC), after a former employee in Taiwan was indicted.

Taiwanese prosecutors on Wednesday charged three individuals with conspiring to use TSMC’s confidential information to help Tokyo Electron secure supplier contracts for its 2-nanometer process.
