AsianFin -- Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said U.S. technology should serve as the global foundation for industries — including in China — much like the U.S. dollar underpins the world economy.
“President Trump understands that the American tech stack should be the world standard. Just as the U.S. dollar is the world’s standard that economies are built on, we want the American tech stack to be the foundation for global technology and industries, and that includes China,” Huang told Yahoo Finance after the company’s second-quarter earnings.
Huang, who runs the world’s most valuable company, said Nvidia is resuming efforts to sell chips into China, with approvals already secured from U.S. regulators.
“We’ve been approved and licensed to ship to China, and now we’re looking for orders,” he said.
