AsianFin -- China is sending a senior trade negotiator to Washington this week, signaling momentum in discussions after U.S. President Donald Trump extended a tariff truce earlier this month.
Vice Commerce Minister Li Chenggang is scheduled to meet with U.S. officials and business leaders during his trip, according to a person familiar with the matter who requested anonymity as the visit has not been formally announced. Li is expected to remain in Washington at least through Thursday and Friday, the person said.
