AsianFin -- Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang arrived in Taipei on Friday for a visit to chip manufacturing partner TSMC, as the U.S. tech giant navigates growing tensions between Washington and Beijing over access to its leading AI chips.

Speaking to reporters upon arrival at Taipei’s Songshan Airport, Huang said, “My main purpose coming here is to visit TSMC.” He added that his stay would be brief, planning to depart after a dinner meeting with TSMC executives. The remarks were broadcast live by local media.
