AsianFin -- Apple Inc. will open a new retail store in Bangalore early next month, stepping up its expansion in one of the company’s fastest-growing markets.

The outlet, located in the upscale Phoenix Mall of Asia, is set to welcome customers on Sept. 2, Apple said Thursday in a statement.
