AsianFin -- Dreame, a Chinese company known for its robot vacuum cleaners, is venturing into the drone market and has reportedly recruited employees from domestic drone leader DJI Technology, which has become a competitor following Dreame’s launch of its first robotic vacuum, according to a new report.

Sources told Sina Tech that Dreame has already attracted several staff from DJI and Meituan, China’s top on-demand services platform, to work on its upcoming drone project.

The company has also posted job openings for positions such as drone navigation and modeling algorithm engineers, as well as drone operations business leads, on various recruitment platforms, signaling its push into the aerial technology sector.
