AsianFin -- Alibaba announced on Thursday that its autonomous-driving software unit, Banma Network Technology, is planning a separate listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

Following the proposed offering, Alibaba will reduce its stake in Banma from 44.72% to 30%.

“It is currently proposed that the spin-off will be carried out through a global offering of Banma shares,” Alibaba said in a statement.
