AsianFin -- Meta Platforms has halted hiring in its artificial intelligence division after recently bringing on more than 50 researchers and engineers, the Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday.

A company spokesperson said that the pause is part of routine organizational planning, citing the need to establish a “solid structure” for its new superintelligence projects while completing annual budgeting and planning exercises.
