Aug 20, 2025, 10:42 p.m. ET

AsianFin -- Eight Sleep, a startup known for its $3,000 AI-enabled mattresses sold with a subscription plan, has raised $100 million in Series D funding to scale its technology-driven sleep products.

The round was led by Founders Fund, Y Combinator, Valor Equity Partners, and HSG (formerly Sequoia China), with participation from Formula One driver Charles Leclerc and McLaren Racing CEO Zak Brown.

The fresh capital lifts Eight Sleep’s valuation to roughly $500 million. Since launch, the company has generated more than $500 million in sales of its flagship Pod mattress system.

The Pod uses water-filled tubes embedded in a mattress cover to regulate temperature between 55°F and 110°F (13–43 °C). Integrated sensors monitor heart rate, breathing, and heart rate variability, feeding into an AI platform—known as Autopilot—that automatically adjusts the sleep environment in real time.
