AsianFin -- Pekka Lundmark, the former CEO of Nokia, will become an investor and board member at Finnish quantum computing company QMill, the firm announced Wednesday.
Lundmark, who stepped down from Nokia earlier this year after leading the company since 2020, is credited with helping to turn around the telecom equipment giant.
Joining him at QMill is Antti Vasara, former head of Finland’s VTT Technical Research Centre and a former Nokia executive, who will serve as chair of the board.
Founded last year and based in Espoo, Finland, QMill focuses on quantum algorithms and has raised seed funding from investors including Antler, Maki.vc, and Kvanted.
