AsianFin -- China’s exports of rare earth magnets climbed to a six-month peak in July, reflecting a steady recovery in shipments of key materials used in electric vehicles and wind turbines following a Sino-U.S. trade agreement.
Shipments rose nearly 75% from June to 5,577 metric tons, marking the second consecutive monthly increase and the highest monthly total since January, according to data released Wednesday by the General Administration of Customs.
Germany, the United States, and Vietnam were the top three destinations for the magnets last month.
