AsianFin -- The ChatGPT mobile app has generated more than $2 billion in revenue since its debut in May 2023, according to new analysis from app intelligence provider Appfigures.

The iOS and Android app has far outpaced rivals including Anthropic’s Claude, Microsoft’s Copilot, and X’s Grok, bringing in roughly 30 times more revenue than competitors combined.

So far in 2025, ChatGPT’s mobile app has raked in $1.35 billion, compared with just $174 million during the same period last year—a staggering 673% year-over-year increase.

Monthly revenue now averages nearly $193 million, up sharply from around $25 million per month in 2024, Appfigures data shows.
