China’s A-Share Market Hits Historic Trillion-Yuan Milestone

AsianFin – China’s A-share market surged further on Monday, pushing total market capitalization past the 100 trillion yuan mark for the first time in history.

By 10:34 a.m. local time, the combined market value of all A-share listed companies exceeded 100 trillion yuan, based on the latest stock prices multiplied by total share capital. This marks a historic milestone for the nation’s equity market.

On the company front, Agricultural Bank of China led the A-share market in valuation with 2.19 trillion yuan, followed closely by Industrial and Commercial Bank of China at 2.02 trillion yuan. Additionally, four other major stocks—including Kweichow Moutai, China National Petroleum, Bank of China, and Contemporary Amperex Technology (CATL)—each surpassed the one-trillion-yuan market value threshold.
