AsianFin -- GAC Motor has officially announced its entry into the United Kingdom, signing a joint venture agreement with Amrijet to serve as its local partner for the sale of GAC’s new energy passenger vehicles, according to TMTPost.

Under the agreement, Amrijet will handle marketing, sales, and distribution of GAC’s vehicles across the UK. The initial launch will focus on two of GAC’s global strategic models: the AION V and AION UT. Both models are scheduled to hit the UK market and begin deliveries in the first quarter of 2026.

This move marks a significant step in GAC Motor’s international expansion strategy, targeting the growing demand for electric vehicles in Europe. By leveraging local partnerships, GAC aims to navigate regional regulations and consumer preferences while promoting its AION lineup as a competitive player in the UK EV market.
