AsianFin -- Nvidia Corp. and Advanced Micro Devices Inc. have agreed to give the U.S. government 15% of revenue from sales to China of advanced AI chips, including Nvidia’s H20, Reuters reported citing a U.S. official.

The Trump administration halted H20 shipments to China in April, but last month Nvidia said it had received approval to resume sales and aimed to start deliveries soon. The Commerce Department began issuing licenses for H20 exports to China on Friday, another U.S. official said.

Asked about the revenue agreement, an Nvidia spokesperson said the company complies with U.S. rules for global markets and expressed hope that export controls will allow the U.S. to compete both in China and worldwide.
