AsianFin -- U.S. President Donald Trump on Thursday called for the immediate resignation of Intel’s newly appointed CEO, Lip-Bu Tan, citing concerns over his alleged links to Chinese companies.

Trump claimed Tan was “highly conflicted,” casting a shadow over the future of the American semiconductor giant.

“There is no other solution to this problem,” Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform, sending Intel shares down nearly 5% in premarket trading.
