AsianFin -- Singapore-based semiconductor AI startup SixSense has raised $8.5 million in a Series A round to expand its real-time defect detection platform for chip manufacturers, bringing its total funding to roughly $12 million.
The round was led by Peak XV’s Surge, the early-stage program formerly known as Sequoia India & Southeast Asia, with backing from Alpha Intelligence Capital, FEBE Ventures, and other investors.
Founded by a female entrepreneur, SixSense leverages AI to help semiconductor producers predict and detect defects directly on the production line, aiming to improve yield, reduce waste, and accelerate time-to-market.
