AsianFin -- Panama’s Comptroller General Anel Flores said Wednesday he has filed a legal challenge with the country’s Supreme Court seeking to annul a port operations contract held by a local company controlled by Hong Kong’s CK Hutchison.

Flores said the two lawsuits aim to declare the contract for managing the Balboa and Cristobal ports near the Panama Canal unconstitutional and void. The Supreme Court must still decide whether to accept the case for review.
