AsianFin -- OpenAI has reached $12 billion in annualized revenue after doubling its income in the first seven months of the year, The Information reported Wednesday, citing a source familiar with the matter.

The figure suggests the ChatGPT creator is now generating roughly $1 billion in revenue per month. The report also noted that OpenAI’s ChatGPT products, used by both individual consumers and enterprise clients, have amassed around 700 million weekly active users.
