AsianFin -- A massive earthquake struck off the coast of Russia Tuesday, sparking tsunami alerts in the United States, including Alaska, Hawaii, Guam and the West Coast.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a tsunami warning was announced for Alaska's Aleutian Islands and Hawaii. Meanwhile, California, Oregon, Washington, the U.S. territories of Guam and American Samoa are under a tsunami advisory.
