AsianFin – ByteDance’s Seed team today officially launched Seed LiveInterpret 2.0, an advanced end-to-end simultaneous interpretation model. According to the company, Seed LiveInterpret 2.0 is the first product-level Chinese-English speech interpretation system that achieves human-like performance in both latency and accuracy.

The new model reportedly sets a new industry benchmark (SOTA) in translation quality for Chinese-English simultaneous interpretation, while maintaining ultra-low speech latency—making it suitable for real-time use cases such as live broadcasts and conferences.
