AsianFin -- Crypto startups raised a total of $92 million this week, with venture capitalists increasingly backing companies at the intersection of blockchain and artificial intelligence, according to DefiLlama data.

The fresh capital brings 2025’s total crypto funding to $11.1 billion—already 60% of PitchBook’s $18 billion forecast for the year.

While investors continue to spread capital across various sectors, AI emerged as the dominant theme. Half of the week’s largest rounds went to firms combining crypto with AI technologies, including decentralized AI networks and robotic training data engines. AI-linked startups accounted for more than 60% of total funding.
