AsianFin -- Thailand's acting prime minister warned that the ongoing military clashes with Cambodia could escalate into full-scale war, as cross-border shelling continued for a second consecutive day.

Speaking to reporters on Friday, Acting Prime Minister Phumtham Wechayachai said the intensifying conflict posed a growing threat to civilians, stressing that Thailand would firmly defend its territory and sovereignty.
