AsianFin -- Nearly 30% of German companies planning to invest in the United States have delayed their projects, and 15% have scrapped them entirely, citing uncertainty surrounding U.S. President Donald Trump’s tariff policy, according to a survey released Thursday by the Ifo Institute.
The uncertainty is also weighing on domestic investment. Among the 1,500 firms surveyed, 21% reported postponing investments in Germany, while 8% said they had cancelled projects.
