AsianFin -- U.S. President Donald Trump voiced his strong distaste for the term “Artificial Intelligence” during a speech at an AI summit held in Washington, D.C. on July 23, according to U.S. media reports.
“Everyone around the world is talking about Artificial Intelligence. I get it. But I think the word ‘artificial’ is terrible — I just can’t stand it,” Trump said. “I don’t even like the name. I don’t like anything with the word ‘artificial’ in it. Can we change the name?”
Trump went on to say he was “serious” about the idea. “It’s not ‘artificial.’ It’s genius. Pure genius,” he added.
