AsianFin -- SK Hynix said it will ramp up investment this year following a record second-quarter profit, aiming to ease investor concerns over a potential slowdown in AI chip growth.
The South Korean chipmaker, a key supplier to Nvidia, said rising demand fueled by upcoming product launches from its customers will support further gains. The company also reaffirmed its projection to double sales of high-bandwidth memory (HBM) chips in 2025 compared to last year.
