AsianFin -- A widespread cyber-espionage campaign exploiting Microsoft’s server software has compromised approximately 100 organizations as of this past weekend, according to two cybersecurity groups involved in uncovering the breach.

Microsoft issued an alert on Saturday warning of “active attacks” targeting self-hosted SharePoint servers—a widely used platform for internal document sharing and collaboration. The company clarified that cloud-based SharePoint services hosted by Microsoft remain unaffected by the breach.
