AsianFin -- Temu plans to have 50% of its UK orders fulfilled by local merchants by the end of 2025, a move aimed at deepening its foothold in one of its fastest-growing overseas markets.
The Chinese cross-border e-commerce platform, which now boasts 22 million users in the UK, said the initiative will create significant opportunities for local retailers.
More than 80% of UK consumers recognize Temu’s value-for-money appeal, according to a recent survey. By reducing operational costs and helping merchants reach a wider customer base, the platform is increasingly becoming a key channel for small and medium-sized British businesses to expand their market presence.
