AsianFin -- China’s rare earth exports to the United States surged by 660% in June compared to the previous month, following a recent trade agreement, data from the General Administration of Customs showed.

Overall rare earth shipments jumped to 3,188 tons in June, marking a 160% increase from May’s 1,238 tons.

Despite the sharp month-on-month rebound, exports were still down 38% compared to June 2024.
