AsianFin -- Ride-hailing giant Uber has officially launched a WeChat mini program, allowing Chinese travelers to book rides overseas directly through the popular messaging app without needing to download a separate app or link an international bank card.

The new integration supports both mainland WeChat Pay and WeChat Pay HK, offering a seamless payment experience in Chinese yuan or Hong Kong dollars.
