AsianFin -- Apple is set to begin mass production of its first foldable iPhone in the second half of 2026, according to a blog post by TF International Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.
Kuo said the tech giant has opted to adopt Samsung Display’s crease-free foldable panel solution, abandoning efforts to develop the technology in-house.
The move not only strengthens the supply chain partnership between Apple and Samsung Display but also benefits key hinge supplier Fine M-Tec, Kuo noted.
