AsianFin -- Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang is set to attend the opening ceremony of China’s international supply chain expo on Wednesday, according to Chinese state broadcaster CCTV.

The announcement, citing the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, comes as Huang prepares for a high-profile appearance amid heightened attention on U.S.-China tech relations. An Nvidia spokesperson confirmed Huang will also hold a media briefing on the same day.

Huang’s return to China follows his visit in April, during which he underscored the strategic importance of the Chinese market to Nvidia’s global business. His participation in the supply chain event is expected to draw significant interest from both the semiconductor industry and policymakers, as Nvidia navigates increasing export restrictions while maintaining strong demand for its AI chips in China.
