AsianFin -- Rumors circulated today suggesting that the China office of AI startup Manus had undergone layoffs or was shutting down operations. However, a visit to the company’s Wuhan headquarters revealed a different picture.

On-site employees confirmed that while some business adjustments are underway, the Wuhan office remains fully operational.

Dozens of staff were seen working at their desks during the visit, and the atmosphere appeared stable. A supplier also told reporters that their partnership with Manus has not been affected.
