AsianFin -- Tesla (TSLA.O) has begun operating its first batch of V4 superchargers in China, with initial deployments in Shanghai, Chongqing, and the provinces of Gansu and Zhejiang, the company announced on Monday.
The U.S. automaker plans to expand the rollout to additional regions, including Beijing and Guangdong province. In a move to broaden its charging network’s appeal, Tesla said the new V4 superchargers will also be made available to electric vehicles from other brands.
