AsianFin -- Indonesia has proposed a joint investment opportunity in a critical minerals project to the United States as part of ongoing tariff negotiations, according to the country’s top economic official.

Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto said Monday that Indonesia’s sovereign wealth fund, Danantara Indonesia, would participate in the proposed project, which is aimed at strengthening bilateral ties and securing supply chains in strategic sectors.
