AsianFin - Airbus has reiterated its commitment to a long-term development strategy in China, as the European aerospace giant celebrates four decades of cooperation with the country—a milestone reflecting the strength and resilience of China-Europe aviation ties.
“Some collaborations take more than a year or two to show results. They require strategic patience and a forward-looking mindset that balances risks and opportunities,” said George Xu, CEO of Airbus China, speaking on June 25—the anniversary of Airbus delivering its first civil aircraft to China in 1985.
Acknowledging that such partnerships come with challenges, Xu emphasized the importance of perseverance and strategic consistency. “That’s exactly why we must embrace long-termism—eschewing short-term gains in favor of sustainable, win-win growth,” he said.
