AsianFin -- Tesla’s new car registrations in Europe dropped 27.9% in May compared to a year earlier, even as fully electric vehicle sales across the region jumped 27.2%, according to data from the European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA). The decline comes as the refreshed Model Y has yet to lift the brand’s momentum.
Overall passenger car sales in Europe rose 1.9% year-on-year, with the strongest gains seen in plug-in hybrids and vehicles powered by alternative fuels.
