Trump Says U.S. Interest Rates Should Be 2–3 Points Lower

AsianFin -- U.S. President Donald Trump said Tuesday that U.S. interest rates should be at least two to three percentage points lower, suggesting the Federal Reserve could raise them later if economic conditions worsen.

“We should be at least two to three points lower. If things later change to the negative, increase the Rate,” Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social.
